Why Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers Summit Really, Really Matters
MMG/DC artist Meek Mill joined up with Cleavland Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters to bring something to their home city of Philadelphia that they’ve never seen before.
Their Dreamchasers Summit brings youth in the city together for a sports/music conference. Going down today at Temple University, the summit will bring together some of the biggest names in sports and music to speak about what it takes to make it in their industry.
Meek along with Rick Ross, Waiters, Thaddeus Young and Lou Williams will serve as panelists. The idea is one that should really take off and be something great for all those involved.

Dj’s Doing Work: Paris Hilton Signs Huge Dj’ing Contract (Video)
You might not think of Paris Hilton as much of a Dj, but Amnesia Nightclub in Ibiza Spain thinks she made it!
After holding down the turntables at the club during her international tour, the club decided that they had to lock her in for the long-term. The dollar amount of the contract has not been disclosed, but I’m sure it’s pocket change to the heiress to the HIlton fortune.
Her deal with the club will begin in 2014.

Drug dealers are getting a lot more creative in how they move their work. Gone are the days of stuffing your car full of bricks, in comes the new wave. Carrie pigeons.
Drug dealers in Buenos Aires have learned how to train pigeons into carry drugs from one spot to another, similar to how the monkey was used in “Hangover 2″ to move coke from one point to another without the dealer himself having his hands on anything.
The slick hustlers were pretty successful until they got caught. The bird was nabbed trying to make a drop off in Columbia. Police confiscated the birds and arrested the men behind the operation.
In my opinion, you can’t hate for someone for trying.

‘Wild Style’ Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary (Video)
In 1983, filmmaker Charlie Ahearn go together with graffiti artists Fab 5 Freddy and Lee Quinones, to come up with the film “Wild Style.” The movie chronicled the hip-hop scene. At that time, the scene was still in it’s infant stage. The documentary became the first feature film about hip-hop.
30 years later, the film still stands strong. The film recently had a free screening in NYC as part of the , SummerStage’s “This Is Hip-Hop” series at the East River Park amphitheater. If you’re in NYC next Monday, stop by and check out the film. Until then, take a look at the trailer below.

Former Disney Star Lee Thompson Young Found Dead
Lee Thompson Young famous for his roles as “The Famous Jett Jackson” on the Disney Channel, has been found dead according to TMZ. Reports are stating that the actor might have passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Young was due to report to work on the TNT series, “Rizzoli & Isles,” and didn’t show up. Staff members of the TNT show made calls to Young that went unanswered. It was then that the crew called up Young’s landlord to check on the actor and discovered his body in the apartment.
At the age of 29, Young was a rising star in Hollywood. After a successful run as a child star on Jett Jackson, he played Chris Comer in the 2004 sports movie, “Friday Night Lights.”
